HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUGENE!!!!

Evgenia Yugene Nazarova
Hello folks!
Today my friend and a very talented russian designer Evgenia Yugene Nazarova is celebrating her birthday. I know her for a long time and very proud to have amazing clothes that were created by her. You also can rent some clothes if you need to go out or have a party and need a special dress for it or you have a photoshoot (as me when I was participating in a beauty contest). Last few years she introduces hat collections - very unique and stunning. Here are few links about her hat collections (sorry that the links on russian but you can see the hats):

More hats from Yugene

I'm also very proud that once I was a part of her hat design - I made felted pancakes that later became a gorgeous hat - you can see a part of the process and the result on the pictures.

Happy Birthday Yugene!!!!!!!

Dedication to Istanbul

In 2011 I started to make some silver jewelry. This process needs more time and more inspiration and it's harder than just put some supplies together. :) So far I have only two rings in my shop 'Rock me' and 'Summertime'. And also I made nice earrings I wear almost everyday - here is the blogpost about them 'I did it!'
But today I want to tell you a story about a necklace I made this year. One of my favorite city is Istanbul, the place I always feel like I'm home and that's the only place I really miss physically. One day I was going home by local train and llistening to music as usually. I always have shuffle mode in my mp3 player so I never know which song will be next. Those day one of those unexpected songs was 'Ah Istanbul' by Sezen Aksu - one of my favorites. And suddenly an idea came into my mind and I took a paper and a pen and made a sketch - a necklace that reminds me Istanbul. This necklace has a shape of tulip (symbol of Istanbul) with three stones: two blue as sky and sea and one green as trees. For me this necklace is Istanbul.......

Secret Santa 2013

Hello folks!
As I told you before this year (as usual) I have two Secret Santas. And I got a gift from one of them (Secret Santa from RusTeam) last Saturday. Honestly I'm not able to say how I felt that moment - as a child and maybe even more than a child! I got a bunch of gifts from QuietCreation - amazing decorations for my christmas tree and jewelry. I love then all!!!!! And can't wait the moment to use them!

Secret Santa 2013

Hello folks!
New Year is very very very soon and this year I'm again participating in Secret Santa game on Etsy. I'm a proud member of two great teams EuropeanStreetTeam and RussianTeam and it means I had to make two gifts. And today I wanna share pictures of the gifts I made. I hope that girls will like the earrings.

For these earrings I used amazing glass beads I bought this summer in Mdina Glass Factory, Malta. Guys I have to confess that I wanted to buy like everything there! So many gorgeous glass beads and each and every bead is unique as they are handmade!

These earrings were inspired by nature colors - I'm in love with green and orange mix together. It reminds me autumn....when colors are so bright and you still can see summer colors but also see autumn is coming....

I did it!!!!

For the last three months I've been working on new silver earrings with tourmaline. And I've finished them today! It took so long as I've been working only on weekends and that's the third pair of earrings (first two didn't handle it :)))) and the third design )))) The most important thing is I did it alone! Without any advice or help! I've made few mistakes while been working due these months but very proud of myself! I'm more than sure I know I can do such things!!!! Maybe they are not that perfect but I'm really proud.....

Spring Swap by EuropeanStreetTeam

This year I first time joined Secret Spring Swap 2011 organized by the EuropeanStreetTeam. This game is pretty fun - it's like you have your Cristmas gift and don't know what is inside))))

All of us (who play the game this spring) had a list of what our secret partner likes and likes not. So you have to use your imagination pretty well.

I was pretty sure that it'll be a scarf for my secret partner but it was hard to find what kind of pattern it must be.... but one day the pattern just poped up into my mind and here we are.... with the amazingly light long chiffon silk scarf. The size is about 60x180cm so it can be used as a scarf and as a shawl as well. Hope she will like it!

Earrings with murano glass beads

I love murano glass bead as all those beads are can't be the same. Each and every bead is unique! And they inspired me to create few earrings.

Earrings with blue beads were inspired by Iemanja, the Queen of the Ocean. Iemanja is a Goddes in Brazilian culture. She likes blue and white colors.

And this earrings with my favorite red color I'm going to keep for myself.

Creative workspace 'Handpainted silk scarf'

I've started to work on a new handpaintes silk scarf. I made my first felted beret earlier this year and the design I used for my beret inspired me to create a scarf with the same design. So you can see how I work and also the original design I'm using for this scarf.

They have found their owners!

Hello everyone! Each and every design is unique so there is no surprise we choose only one that was created only for us (even if you buy something in a big store :))! And I'm happy to introduce few designs that've already found their owners as they match each other perfectly! Each and every design has a story about an inspiration. And what about you? Which design is absolutely yours? Find out in my shop.
Have a nice day!
xoxo

One of a kind! As they were made with lemon quartz and you'll never find the same stones!

There is always a way to try something new!

Hello everyone! Today I wanna share a story that happened to me recently. As all girls I love shopping!!!!!! But the problem is sometimes it's too hard to find something original in shops ((((( But if you know some sites with handmade things the issue becomes more achievable. )

I wanted to buy a new beret and found a nice one in this shop Ekaterina Markus. I've written to the seller and as she lives in Germany asked Is it possible to get the beret before New year? She wasn't sure about it but she offered me another option - come to her master class in January (as she comes to Moscow in January) and make my own beret! And she also gave me another idea - make handpainted silk design that I'll be able to use for my beret. It was such a great idea so of course I said - YES!!!!

It was my first experience with felting and now I know it's easier than I've though! So I've got my new beret with two different designs inside and outside and I'm absolutely happy!!!! Not because I've got a new beret but because I've tried something new and even I'll never felt anything in the future anyway I know I can do it!
